Experience

Diana R. Francis served for a combined ten years as corporate labor and employment law counsel for MCI Communications Corporation in Washington, D.C. and Olin Corporation in Illinois.

She also spent a number of years in private practice in Washington, D.C. specializing in labor and employment law.

Diana has extensive experience in federal and administrative labor and employment litigation, grievance handling, arbitration, contract negotiations, NLRB matters, and advice and counseling in personnel matters.

She also has a strong background in management training in equal employment opportunity matters, including ADA, FMLA and sexual harassment, disciplinary action under union contracts and in non-union environments, and legal risk management.

For a number of years, Diana has been a Contributing Editor of The Developing Labor Law (BNA) ("Long considered the standard reference work in the complex field of labor law").
